So, in balance, he's asking us to ignore scummy behavior, when scummy behavior is the ONLY way we have to identify scum especially on the first day.

I am open to any Devil's Advocate positions, but right now the only alternatives end up collapsing into the above statement.

I guess Andy and Jay both make valid points that Kris' post is probably the most outright scummy thing we have right now. Andy pushing for a swift vote concerns me greatly because unless you are scum and see a possible town being lynched, more time to gather information on your vote seems like it would always be a good thing.

Nate- see my above post. I'm been hawking JT the entire time because he made a mistake. SCUM HAS THE ADVANTAGE OUT OF THE BOX. I see no reason to keep going over that same ish. It's all been posted a million times, and half the reason I keep posting it, is because y'all keep asking.

Exactly. Heck, I wasn't even the first one to vote for Kris. I'm just restating what has already been posted and moving it forward.

Side note: Thom seems a bit quieter now that attention was drawn to his excessive activity around his vote for JT.

I don't think that is scummy. He is just compiling the information from past posting into his post to show the fact that a person has called themselves scum. That to me is not something we can look past

Others voted for him before me and others continue contemplating doing the same. We are all thinking about voting for Kris. I just have chosen to move forward with my decision.

I don't consider the vote itself questionable, mainly because I can't deny that Kris' behavior was extremely scummy. However pushing for "Swift" action when we have another day we could be discussing and learning more was the questionable part.

What picklz said. Pushing the vote on Kris means one of two things. Either you're town, think he's scum, and want him gone. OR- you're scum, know he's town, and want him gone. The general push to the swift vote, unfortunately did not help your case. I'm half tempted to swing my vote to Kris to see what happens, because that'd likely cause a hammer vote today. I won't though, because I still think there are some other questions that need to be answered.

As far as me being quieter, Yeah, I have been. Not a whole lot has piqued my interest enough to investigate it... thusfar. Though your actions DO seem to shove you a little more out front, as it were.

I'm beginning to think Tom is Scum and Maybe JT isn't. Tom was ALL OVER JT till heat started to come his way for it, then he seemingly backed off, I switch gears a bit and start questioning Andy and Tom is right there...granted I'd hope others would agree w/ my concern of Andy's post but still.

Vote for me all you want. I haven't backed off JT for anything. I just feel like I've gotten all the information I can about him for right now. If you notice, I haven't changed my vote.While I fully admit that jumping on Andy was poorly timed, I needed something. Personally, I don't think Andy is scum. I still think JT is.

With me out of the way, there's virtually no one questioning anything anyone else does, and scum comes in for the easy kill. I'll be surprise if I survive the night, if I don't already get lynched on this vote. I'd put money on scum waiting for two more town votes, and then hammering me down. My REAL question is- what is swanny's motivation? Comes in, votes me, and disappears? Funny how that works.

It is funny how it works isn't it? I was thinking either you or JT were scum and the more I read the more and more I think you are one of the scum members. Attacking a fellow scum (JT) wouldn't make sense. I could be off base, but its the nature of the game.

I know I am not scum, fairly certain Matt and AJ are townie as well. The rest are suspect.

Not sure what part of placing a vote constitutes paranoia. My vote was based upon the dialog of this thread - and the fact of the matter is we are coming up on < 24 hours left before we HAVE to vote, unless you are advocating no Lynch, in which case I will be extremely suspect of you because no lynch on Day 1 is way better for Scum than Town.

I am a little curious as to Josh's vote w/ no explanation or anything.

Also I think the scum would be best served by Josh and I voting Kris, since he already has two votes and seemingly more people feeling he is scum, now it's split. Also remember you can change your vote at anytime, which I may do because I still feel like Kris might be the smart vote on Day 1. I'm just extremely suspicious of Tom's actions.

Also to everyone, keep in mind your vote can spur conversation and actions by others (votes, changed votes, etc) - which may reveal information. They aren't strictly for lynching.

Splitting up the pressure doesn't allow a quick bang bang vote to get rid of someone. The more I think of Kris's post the more I think it was to stir reaction and get discussion going. However I am always very confused to start these games until roles can start popping out a bit more. I wanted to use my vote for someone and was coming in here to vote for either Tom or JT until I read the last page.

To be honest, I'm fishing....I have a few theories on the scum behavior/pairings and wanted to see what a 2 vs 2 vote would do. Reading this thread in 40 post/page is helpful to see the day split and discussion shifts (as scum can talk to each other at night)...
