The game is currently still in "day 1" which lasts a week (or until a lynch has been confirmed), and then it becomes "night" for 48 hours. Because of that very reason. Game 1, Eddy called scum right out of the box. All of us thinking he was an idiot, we didn't lynch him. So of course, he turns out to be scum. Second game, same thing, same result. I suppose we could lynch Kris just to get him out of the way......but what purpose would that serve? We're still missing weigh ins from several people here, so it's probably a little early to determine what he's up to.

So the consensus is that we should kill a highly likely townie just because he's not being very helpful? Even if there is a better chance at lynching a townie than a scum, at least vote for someone who's BS tactic shouldn't be believed.

My first post was admittedly risky (whatever my role may be). But it did spark conversation that has been interesting. Tom called my post BS and a tactic that no one should believe, yet we have 2 people jumping on the bandwagon, both without much of a reason.

On the other hand I find Nates reasoning completely void of anything concrete to stand on, which incited paranoia into Andy's vote for me.

Same way the last one played out though, so not REALLY surprising. I'll stick by my vote though, still stuck on JT. Though.... where the fuck has Eddy been? Not that I intend on voting for him, but I suspect he's laying low and waiting to hammer the vote and sending me to the grave. Whether or not he's scum is totally open to interpretation, he probably just doesn't like me.

There is 2 scum, and 7 town. Kris' vote definitely makes things more interesting. He could be scum, and it's a smart move, lobbing one out to the middle, instead of swinging at a free lynch (me) because he believes the vote will take me down anyhow, and there is no need to have scum vote together. OR- he's town and he's smart enough to want to make his own decisions.

See - Vote's are good. Tom you really aren't in danger of being Lynched and look at how much discussion this has triggered.

I was already on the fence w/ Kris and his recent explanation makes me understand his actions a bit more.

The pot has def been stirred.

There is 2 scum, and 7 town. Kris' vote definitely makes things more interesting. He could be scum, and it's a smart move, lobbing one out to the middle, instead of swinging at a free lynch (me) because he believes the vote will take me down anyhow, and there is no need to have scum vote together. OR- he's town and he's smart enough to want to make his own decisions.

Andy- as far as the bolded print- my statement was in reference to previous games. In many instances, a bandwagon/mob rule style lynch happened, and the game was over before it began. That was the single thing I was hoping to avoid this game.

My thought of JT being scum still goes back to that first statement.... asking about "since there's all the roles"... or something to that effect. What caught my eye was the assumption that there was all the roles. The only way he's going to know that there's roles at all, is if there's a roleblocker. Only way he's gonna know if there's a roleblocker, is if he is one, which makes him scum. Sure it was probably a combo screwup on Dan's part- and it's entirely possible JT was just throwing things out there, BUT- I have a truly hard time believing he'd ask a question like that unless he knew something more than he was letting on. He did an admirable job of defending himself, But I still don't really believe it was enough to swing him out of my way.

I am going to stick with Kris as my guy. But him voting for me was a good way to go. One thing it does reveal is that Kris will stir things up.


I am inclined to agree with Thom on JT spouting of the roles comment. But it is not enough for me to vote for him.

Now that I look around a bit there are several people who are playing the game better this round. conversations are up and people are chatting about their theories.

Maybe I'm the one being a tard here, but the Scum Roleblocker doesn't know which roles are out there, do they? That would make shit way too easy. So I don't necessarily think JT's assumption of roles means he knew anything that only a scum would know. It does still leave the possibility that his misunderstanding of the rules was causing him to try and employ a scummy tactic.
