Yeah, loose lugs is baaaaad! Had some aftermarket wheels on my Contour, had them rotated by TiresSlut and within 5 miles of highway all 4 wheels were wobblin. Not fun at all.
Do not hear any metal on metal nor grinding. Just the clunking.

Alright, late night DW. Checked sway bar links and right front is tight. Checked left front, just to check, and everything felt the same. Pushed down on front fenders with wheels on the ground and they seemed to have the same rebound.

If the sway bar links are the culprit, they will move? On past vehiculars, they have not. This is new to me.
Would I be better off buying stock Mazda end links or ordering aftermarket or ?
So, picked up the car a few weeks ago. Everything was tight, no abnormal sounds, clunks, etc. About 4 days after, started hearing a clunk for the right front on bumps. Started off with only large bumps, but not is all bumps.

I had a 95 base Contour LX(I believe). 2.0L, 5spd, red exterior with red interior. Only options from factory were a tape player and engine block heater. Was part of the CEG back in the day and went on a couple rides and grill outs back in early 2000s(02-03ish).
The end links have been notorious for my Escort, my Contour, my Focus and now you're telling me the 3. hmmmmmm....pattern? maybe/maybe not.
I'll just have to take it to a tech and see what they say. Doesn't seem to affect the handling and it's just annoying.
After doing research, looks, or more sounds, like I will need some new suspension on my right side. It's developed some clunking on both right front and right rear. Hopefully will take it into a tech this weekend or next. So, wheels/tires and finishing my motorcycle project will be on hold til...
