That's where flocking strategies come in. There's like 10 of us and 1 of him. Keep him confused enough that he can't pick out just one target.

And if there's enough black cars there, he can't determine who is who, and therefore can't tag any of us! Sweet.

At least I don't have to worry about my blazing red being picked out...

Can anyone post up directions to [oops]Coon rapids[/oops]and I'll put it in the first post? Lets start at noon?

Thanks Jay, I cheated when I found the Anoka parks guide and posted their directions, lol.

So I see that we can reserve a pavilion, but it would be $40. Should we just show up and claim one? I'm not familiar with this park...

Shit, you asked for Como, but we're going to the Coon Rapids dam.... oops.
My bad dude, they sound so alike!

So what's up with this:

All motorized vehicles are required to purchase a vehicle entry permit to the regional parks. Annual permits are available for $25, good for one year from date of purchase. Daily permits are available for $5 per day. The annual permit is honored at all Anoka County Regional Parks as well as regional parks in Washington and Carver counties.

There is definitely something unethical with charging people just to go in and use a public park when taxes are already so myriad and excessively high. However, I will let government screw me out of more money if I'm in town.

What's on the "to bring" list as far as sides/desserts/buns/meats... I'm assuming drinks are each on their own.

I totally forgot about the "to bring" list, good call. Its always a mess to manage- we've done quite a few of these sort of meets on the mazda3forums and I don't think we ever came up with a best way to do it.

Well, the main problem I have seen is having everyone bringing the same thing or type of thing. When everyone brings chips or brings sweets, it just doesn't work right. BYOB, but either do a collection for meat or have everyone bring their own too... plus a dish to pass (nothing too huge or we'll be able to feed the whole county!) Have people sign up dishes, and just see if we get too overloaded on something.

If I'm in town that weekend (there's some stuff going on where I don't know my schedule yet), I'd do a side of some sort like beans or a pasta salad or something... I could bake a cake too...

Cake FTW!

My role is grill master. That's what I know. I also have the super grill in my super rubbermaid container to bring.

Yeah, so whats the story? We are actually doing this right? Are we doing an everyone bring your own food to grill or a mass of food and pay for it?

Probably a little of both. Someone brings a pack of brats, someone brings some burgers, someone brings a case of soda...

And then we always end up going to the store and getting more crap anyhow .It works well that way IMO.
