blower motor

I have some rattling going on in the cabin blower motor. I believe something is lodged in it. How do I take it out?

I think by ope Speed6Guy means out welcome to the site feel free to post a hello in the intro section.

That said - I had the same problem in my 6 hatch, I brought it in and the dealer ended up replacing the blower motor. Not sure exactly what the problem was but it was nice and quiet after that.

I've heard of the problem happening in 3's as well; I remember one guy on M3F saying he had been hearing the noise for a long time, then turned on the fan one day and a piece of tape shot out of the vent and smacked him in the face. Never heard the noise again.

Yes it was the hatch, not a wagon but a hatch, looked similar to the sedan but w/ a wiper and slightly steeper back slope
