bought some mods for the speed3!

got the twm shifter bushings in. those thing were a snap! had them in, in 20 minnutes. shifting isnt completely changes but feels a lot better. worth the $35

gt spec bracing is another story. i started on the mid-brace after the bushings. got the flimsy sheet metal cover off and put the back bolts in no problem. went to put the front bolts in and the holes were way off! so the holes need to be reemed out to put on. so i get over that and put in the rear lower tie brace and i pull out the bolts which i may say use power tools and wratcheting wrenches when and if you ever do them!!! those bolts are very long! i get them out and i couldnt get the bolts out. had to take the rod out competely out and put the top in and then the bottom.

had to stop for the night cuz it was 11pm so me and a buddie went for a ride! :66: took a 45mph corner at about 80-85 just the one brace made the rear feel a lot more stable. also from a dead stop i did a launch and let the tires break loose intentionally. no wheel hop! just rolled smooth! yes there is a good viberation right now, just waiting for it to break in a little better but ill take some vibes over wasted power shifting the motor! atp front mount to be here tommarow and in this weekend!

so plans changed this afternoon. ken from pg sent me a email saying corksport dp and test pipe are not comming in till june and cbe were not comming till july. so he upgraded me to the cp-e dp which has the test pipe in it all ready so i say cool ill have that this tuesday! awesome! talked to a buddie and we were going to build a cbe. get a email a couple hours later now he has corksport cbe comming tuesday call him if i want one? huh? now my head is really messed up. so i took come advil and pondered. im getting the cp-e dp, why not just pay $100 more and get the cpe cbe! so if its in stock im geting that insted. i did some listening to the two exhaust on some you tube vids and thats why im going with the cpe. one that whole system is ment for itself plus it has a lot more turbo whistle out of the back. sorry to be a blogger but i had to release this somewhere, my head is going to explode! and the woman doesnt care! lol ill let you know what ken says tommarow!

last night i got my radar hardwire kit installed and so thats done. today I got the hks ssqv flange needed to mount the synapse so the fmic and the rest of the bracing is going on tonight hopefully. i went ahead and went with the corksport cbe so i should have that by friday at latest. then i get the cobb sri and im done! next is saving for tuning software to utlize everything and cobb springs. once those are in its tune time! once i get the fmic in pics will be up! :rockon:

you try to mod your car, be on sucide watch for your friend and sprain your ankle and be more worried to put pictures on a forum. don't beileve me come to the meet tommarow and ill show you the bruised ankle. sorry im still very touchy about it!

Yeaaaa, I'm not really that callous, I'm surprised you even got all the work done this weekend with all that. I don't get shit done on the weekends I have my son around, just no way to focus with a 6 year-old trying to crawl around a glass-shard laden wreck.

When you do have a change to take some pics, can you get some good ones of where the compressor outlet pipe curves over the front of the engine? Thanks

If your engine is all out of the car you might want to put in a front swaybar while it's easy to access.

funny thing is you did bring your hood lol! got home and my cp-e downpipe was sitting at my house when I got here! this thing is dope as hell!! can't wait to get it in!
