Well now I have Josh's phone number. So if I happen to get lost or abducted by truckers at Billy-Bob's Trucker stop, I will call. Unless of course the truckers are "friendly."
Or female ;)

Josh, any updates on that "alternate route" you were talking about last night? I'm all for making a run through some twisties on the way up!!!

Twisties with a loaded car? You’re crazy! But did some looking, 210 (the exit by the casino that's near Duluth) goes through Jay Cook State Park, and looks to be fairly fun, then it jets north and meets up with the road our camp site is on. There is also Skyline Parkway which traverses the hill above Duluth, and has some nice turns and beautiful photo ops. I think I'll wait till I unload my car before hitting those roads up.

Yeah, I was gonna ask about some photo op spots. I definitely vote for something down in the harbor and something up on the bluffs. I think both would make for a pretty cool shot.

Loaded car? Nah, just the gf, a tent, some clothes, and my little gas grill. Pack that shit in tightly, and we're good to go!

A little north of Hinckley I think its an exit at Aksov/Finlayson Hwy 23... That supposedly leads to Duluth.

When we're in Duluth we should be looking for Skyline Drive, 30 mile road, 600 ft above shoreline. Described as having winding roads, rock canyons, and sharp curves :D.

Also- if we head northeast out of Duluth there's the north shore drive that's fun.

I used to live in the area and 23 is a great road. You guys would enjoy yourselves coming up or going home on that road. The car is almost packed. Now I have to wash it up a couple times. I am sure it won't be super shiny by the time tomorrow comes but I need to get it cleaned up!

Now don't be mean Jay, all car geeks are car geeks!!

I am sure there are car washes, should I skip it and take a nap?? It is pretty dirty considering I live on a dirt road. I have bronchitis, got some meds this morning and am trying to nurse back my health so I can drink like a fish this weekend!!

Like one more day... for me at least. Some of you only have hours left until party time.

I would be highly disappointed if you boys brought any electronics besides a radio/cd player...:(
