Damnit, thats what I really wanted to see too..... Guess I just left the party too early.

What a great time this trip was, probably the most fun I've had in the past few years!

Why didnt you come outside with us at Grandma's? We saw a different 1000ft boat leave on Sat as well. Thats why we all headed out after ordering.

On Saturday you saw one too? I was there, how did I miss it? I saw one from inside grandmas on Saturday but only the last part of it. Lame. I think those boats are da coolest...

Yeah, so do I... I dont really understand why, but I can sit and watch the boats all day. Jessica and I actually did for about 1-2 hours on Sunday, while we "cleaned up."

I just got home from my adventures. I had a good time and definetly think we should do something again!! Maybe before the summer is over or at the end of it... Thanks for letting the MINI come along.

Jess and I got to watch a 1,004ft orr boat (James R Barker) head out of the harbor on Sunday afternoon. Wow, what an amazing site that was. I have some pics of that, I will try to share those again as well.

I remember hearing 16,000 hp. It was a nice view and perfect day for being tourists.

That other boat was kickass too. I'm kinda sad I didn't stick around, but Jay and I had an amusing run back to minneapolis (turns out, when you run into an MSP at the gas station, chances are it's the guy that you went there with in the first place. ) and I sure as hell was glad not to smell like beer and campfire. ( someone spilled beer on my blanket. Damn them@!) All in all a good time, and yes we should do it again. Methinks Taylors Falls, in the fall. The leaves are incredible, and it's very secluded back there. Plus if it's warm, the lake is actually swimmable.

And dammit I am bringing my own tent and 'mote controlled car next time!
