Bump, I'll be replying to all PM's on my address in the 2-3 days before the event, just to do them all in one shot, so if you've PM'd me, a reply is coming.

OK, so my front struts are now leaking, so I need to get them swapped out. I'd like to do the rear shocks too. I know jack shit about doing that kinda work, if I offer to buy a buncha tasty food for grillins could I get some help? I can bring what tools I have, but I'll need a jack/jackstands and spring compressors (and maybe an impact wrench for stubborn bolts).

I can bring what I can. I have jacks and a jackstand, I'm fairly thin on sockets though, so that's on someone else. Like I said in the chatbox, start soaking that bitch in PB Blaster now, or Vatozone is gonna run out of breaker bars with the quickness.

Those springs are going to be a giant PITA to crank by hand. Does AJ have an air comp with an impact?

I can bring my socket set and the spring compressors.

i hand cranked one of jons springs yesterday, its not horrible, would've been easier with a ratchet vs open ended wrench.

i might need help with the front rotors, front/back pads i should be ok.

No it's not horrible, but it takes god damn forever and switching to the other side to balance it all out.

Just would save a whole lot of time with an impact, especially considering how many projects we're going to have.

i just have 3 projects - debadge the rear decklid, get HIDs working, and remove the front bumper so i can firmly attach the black grille. I plan on getting there early :)

Seems like an excellent reason to buy some... <.<

Also, I don't have anything to install, yet, but I hope I can make it out to turn a wrench or four.

Just my luck - got sucked into family thing that day so there goes C&C but will stop by later. What time would this go until roughly?

I apparently have a Wedding to go to on the 7th in the afternoon, it's supposed to be a short one but still not sure I'll be making this. FML. I'll text someone when I'm done and see if it's still rockin.

I'm guessing we'll be going till about 8 or so, after that we'll need to wind down so the kiddo can sleep and I can get ready for the work week.

I'm thinking start time will actually be after C&C, for those who have gone, what time does it usually end?

I think the soonest I'd start it 9:30ish, unless someone knew they had a project they wanted a little more time for, I could probably have the garage ready by 8am.

I was thinking of having the Miata in back ready for some suspension work, but want to make sure those who normally don't have the space get their time in, I can do my shit (or have it done, lol) anytime.

Hm. I might be in for this.... I fucked up my brakes pretty good at MOWOG, and if they didn't need changing before, they do now. Stupid Canterberries. Now I gotta do rotors too. I'll be there either way, with or without parts.

Does anyone want to start their car on Friday afternoon, between 6 & 8:30 and then leave it overnight for Sat? Just thinking if someone has a bigger task, I'd let that time help. Either that or people want to grill over some beer and help me to my Suspension on Friday night so it's done and out of the way for Sat? Open to suggestions. My addess will start going out to people today.

If I can line up a jack and some jackstands that early, I'd be down for starting on my car at like 10am on Saturday. I figure with a few people helping, we can rock it in like 3 hours, then I can get to grilling some of the noms I plan on bringing.

Also AJ, do you have ketchup/mustard/etc, or should I bring that too?
