What do you think about doing the dyno day at FNR in Burnsville? I talked to Bruce today and he said it would be $50 for 3 pulls. The only thing is they don't have an awd dyno, only 2wd dyno. Opinions?

Its not a big price difference, but the MAIN reason NOT to do this is because we dyno at MAP at least twice a year every year. That gives you two chances every year to check your progress. All dynos read differently so it makes sense to use the same one every time if you are concerned with how well your car is performing. If you just want "a number" then you can go to any dyno you want, but the reason you dyno is to see where your car is at in relation to where you have been, want to be, vs other similar cars, etc. That is why we should only have dyno days at MAP.

That and my car's been on MAP's dyno god only knows how many times. Seriously, I don't know how many pulls it's made. At least 30.

If FNR is the RX7 place I was blown off when asking about their sponsorship possibilities here.

MAP is a VERY supporting sponsor to us both in Dyno days, group buys, and willingness to try new shit for the cars.

I'll only support and hold a Dyno day at a sponsors location, similar to what we do with Morries.

That's in addition to only having a 2wd dyno when there are 3 in the cities that are AWD (4 if you counted the old LSE dyno).

I'm going down on Tuesday to have them install my DP & CBE. Bruce said that the employees are having a dyno day in April that we could join.

^ dude don't pay up the ass to have them install it. A TBE is cake on your car cuz you don't have a t-case to worry about. Not to mention a single exit exhaust. It'd take 3 hours max to get that done and I'd be glad to get my hands dirty again (no current project for me). Get the beer ready!

I may have to respectfully bow out of the big number competition, unless something drastically changes, I don't think I'm going to have the $$$ together in time to get the thing finished and tuned the way I want it done. Looks like it's all on Justin.
