computer question...

Has anyone ever had their computer suddenly stop being responsive on a webpage or program where the mouse starts blinking a little bit and if you move the mouse to another program or page and click, the action to tried to complete on the previous page will suddenly work? I've got this issue going on right now and my system comes up 100% virus clean. I can fix it by going into task manager when it's working and force close one random item, like nvtray.exe (NVIDIA settings), and then everything will work just for a period of time. Once it acts up again all i have to do it close an item again, it's fucking weird.

Have you updated your video card drivers lately?

When I get weird unexplained unresponsiveness like that, I've been able to solve it about 50% of the time by either upgrading to the newest version, or rolling back to a previous version. Even if you have onboard graphics.

Yep, updating all your drivers to the latest and greatest would be my first suggestion, specifically the video drivers since that seems to be what is giving you troubles.

oh i can end any process through task manager and it works again, I can't see it being specific to that example.

lol- I'm about ready to cover it with tannerite.
YES!!!

Drivers can be a lifesaver, especially when things start to fail. I had issues similar to yours but with hardware (wouldn't scroll right, wouldn't click right on the laptop) and I updated and it solved the problems
