E-Brake Light On???

Well, my e-brake light has randomly been turning on and off these past couple weeks. I know the brake is not froze on, and I also know that it tends to appear when I come to a stop and shut off USUALLY when I accelerate. I thought maybe due to the recently colder MN weather, it may just be shrinkage of the brake fluid. Anyone seen a similar issue? Also, is there a seperate resevoir for e-brake fluid? My regular brake fluid resevoir is full and some guy at the dealershit told me that the msp's have a seperate resevoir for the e-brake.... ??

I'M OFFENDED!
AFAIK they're cable operated. My guess is that the sensor is defaulting to showing engaged due to the weather.

Yep, the e-brake is cable operated. Does your e-brake engage normally? I believe the sensor is located at the brake lever, so you could try removing the center console and seeing if there are any loose parts hanging around in there.

The e-brake works just fine, and I am positive that it is not frozen on. I think that the e-brake light is also an idicator for low brake fluid though so that is what is concerning me.

Wow, what stealership was that so I can never go there for service. Next thing they'll recommend you change your blinker fluid.
