Fall Dyno Day

Any thought on who would be interested in a fall dyno day if we could get one scheduled at either MAP, DB, RS or Full Blown? I'd prefer DB, but I am not sure they would have any open weekends.

I know a few people from MNAutoX would be in, and I'd think if we can get 10 people in and pre paid to show we are serious (usually can get 3 pulls for $50 with 10+ people), we could get something in stone.

If it's a bit later in the fall, I would definitely be down. At the rate things are going with me though, september would probably be a stretch. lol

Tellin it like it is. Better than saying 'maybe' then not going or "I'm in" and then backing out the day before like is generally the norm around here.

I don't care where, but I agree with Picklz...$50 or less and preferably towards the end of Sept or early Oct would be best for me. If sooner, I might be able to stretch it as well. I would be open to any weekend as it's something I can bring my son along and not worry.

I'd prefer to dyno @ MAP since that was where my stock run was done. Even if it's $60 I'm in. I'm gone Labor Day weekend but any other weekend I'm game.

If it's at MAP, I feel Tom needs to contact them as I don't know where their sponsor stuff lies. Anywhere else I'd be happy to reach out.

Personally I don't care about the location. I think it would be nice to reach out to a place with sponsor potential, but not absolutely necessary.

Sponsorship with MAP is done right now. I don't really care where it happens. I don't think this is neccesarily an MNMazda sponsored event at this point, considering you already ran this past the autox people before it came here. I'm totally ok with that. One word of warning, MAP is moving to Cottage Grove sooner or later, IDK what kind of lead time they're gonna need to pull and move the dyno. Seems as if the masses want MAP (which is what i would want too, since my car's been dyno'd there about a thousand times) so if that's what they want, i'd suggest that route.

The place that did my base dyno is no longer in existance (LSE Performance in Ramsey I believe...I know it was in Ramsey, can't remember the name)...so to me it doesn't matter where we go. I am sticking with $50 or less because that's reasonable if we get enough people.

I only mentioned it in passing to see if some who aren't on this site would be interested, and they were. It would be an MNMazda event in my eyes.

Eh either way. MAP is not currently a concern of mine. I back burnered them a while ago after hearing complaints from several members about the lack of customer service. I'm not one to step forward and handle someone elses battle for them, but if they're going to burn a bunch of us, I don't really want them buying space from me. Everyone knows who they are anyhow. I may or may not talk to Chris Carey again here eventually, because I know some things and it could get REAL interesting......

That being said, I likely won't dyno a car, but enough of us have baselines at MAP that it would make the most sense to go out there.
