I have a 1:8 scale duratrax nitro demon i'm looking to sell.
It has a newer bigger engine installed. 0.32 i think
It will need new A-arms (control arms?) at some point because the screws holding the struts to them strip out on hard impacts. Or get bigger screws.
Front struts each have 2 springs doubled up on them to keep it bouncy.
Left rear shock sticks when you push it down by hand, but works fine while driving.
Dustcover for the batteries is missing, i just covered em up with tape to keep sand out.
Has a traxxas steering servo.
Full AWD with CV joints all around, except the front wheel-side joints are U joints.
Fully independent suspension.
Anodized aluminum frame.
One of the body pin posts is broken. The other 3 hold it on just fine though.
EXTRAS:
-One gallon of 20% nitro
-Bag of parts: spare carb, 2 shocks & springs, a glow plug, lots of hardware, etc
-Extra set of rims equipped with road tires. these are extremely grippy, you will flip the truck before it skids
-Remote control, with AA batteries installed. Throttle and steering can be tuned via remote.
-Simple glow igniter. You'll need one C battery.
Its 99% ready to race. Just get the battery for the igniter and tune the carb for cold weather. Hasn't been run since early september.
Asking $200 for all of the above. Located in St Anthony (NE mpls) but usually able to meet wherever.
