front or rear?

what do you think gives better performance? front wheel drive or rear wheel?
i personally like rear wheel, i think it puts out more power, and cant forget drifting. and if tom could hook us up with another chart that be great. now i know some might be saying All wheel drive, but im just asking front or rear.:66:

In general, RWD is a better performance platform. That said, they are able to do amazing things with FWD cars these days--they are still going to tend to be economy cars, just due to the nature of the drivetrain, but that doesnt mean they can't be made to kick some ass.

Haven't driven any rwd cars except for my dad's ranger and my mom's miata, so I can't really toss out an opinion. But most of the cars I would drool over are rwd....

daily driver/ winter car: fwd
summer car/toy: rwd

I have mostly driven rear all my life untill just nnow with my new MS3 so I haven't really given front much of a chance yet. Rear can be really gay in the winter with snow and ice though.

yeah i found out that rear wheel drive was pretty sucky on snow i slid :skiing: :skiing: everywhere but would never changeit for anything, i have driven the 3, rabbit, 07 civic, protoge, focus, and a escape, and hands down my old bmw and rexy are way better performing bc of rwd. no poll opinion? that makes me sad.
