Hey MAP crew!
I attempted installing 3 gauges in my ms3 on Saturday. What a muther uckin pain in the ass! In total I put 12 hours in to the job myself (lots of running around trying to find the correct parts...) and many hours from a friend. Anyways, I was able to install my boost gauge properly, but my oil pressure gauge and A/F gauge I was unable to complete the install for. FYI, all have power and are mounted.
O/P gauge - I bought a T to fit in the stock oil sensor location but the T was too big and hitting the block. It only needs to be extended, T'd, and then some wiring to the new sensor then plugged in. Its basically done...just need some MAP fixing
A/F gauge - Everything is wired, but I don't know where the F to splice into for the correct reading. It will probably take you guys 3 seconds to do this one. Once spliced, this gauge is done.
Also, all wires are through the FW and just need to find their correct homes. All work would be in the engine bay.
Do you think you guys are up to the acute challenge of completing my install? Can I bring my car in this Wednesday April 1, roughly 5:00pm? How long do you think it would take? Cost?
Please please please please tell me you guys can do this! I swear I have a bald spot on my head from scratching and trying to figure this project out...Never doing gauges again!
