Good Bye MS6 - Hello G8 GT

YSOSLO

is the word, beotch
BEAUTIFUL car!! I like the fact that there's still just a touch of chrome trim around the doors to offset all of the shades of gray and the black.

Tell her it was on sale. She'll totally believe that.
She's onto me...that doesn't work anymore.

Thanks! I might actually black out that part of the trim too. I did it once, but the tape got some wrinkles, so I am gonna wait til its warmer so the tape has more flex.

Best looking one I've seen.
Thanks! ;)

I saw a G8 today being used as a Jimmy John's delivery vehicle. How well paid are these guys?

One year later, some updated pics with 2010 Camaro wheels:

Front: 20x8 Midnight Silver Camaro Wheels (255/35/20 Dunlop Sport Maxx)

Rear: 20x10 Midnight Silver Camaro Wheels (285/30/20 Dunlop Sport Maxx) - Wheels were widened from 20x8 to 20x10 by Weldcraft (http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/)

Perfect fit, no rubbing at all as of yet. I have the Eibach Springs in the Front, stock Springs in the Rear for right now.

And for the first time I missed my MS6 on Wed when we got that heavy snow. I got stuck in my driveway with the G8 (with Blizzaks still on)

one suggestion, lose the rear license plate frame. Kind of defeats the purpose of blacking out the badges IMO.

That does look pretty damn nice. Id second Kris' suggestion though, or maybe paint the lettering to match your badges.

LOL AWD For the win in the snow, but those wheels look great on that car, I still love the look of the G8, just wish they had offered the GT w/ a manual. It's hard to beat for a fun family hauler.

Very glad to see you get a bit more meat on those wheels, and wider is always win too.

So what's next man? Cam? I should have some updates in the next couple weeks :D

Thanks guys. Actually, the lettering on the plate frame matches the car, but it's reflective. So either the flash or the sun made it lighten up in the pic.

I think the next item is gonna be a Camaro differential, probably go with the 3.45. That should gain me .3 in the 1/4 and cost me less than 1K to do. I want to do a Cam swap too, but not sure exactly what to go with yet....and the fact that it will cost 1.5K if we do it ourselves or 3K to have it done.

If you do it yourself you can get away with about $700 all-in. I've come to learn the big companies throw in a lot of extra over-priced items into their 'kits' to gain a higher profit.
