Google Chrome

Is there anyone else using this browser yet? I'm on it now for work and so far I really like it. Simple and clean feeling in it's use.

I was using it, but it tended to have a ton of trouble playing videos smoothly. Also, contrary to how it was advertised, I had several instances where the entire browser would stop responding and need to be shut down through the windows task manager.

I may give it another try if there have been updates applied, as it does have some features that I find appealing.

I found mostly the same issue that Jai did.

It froze a lot on me.

But gmail sucked at first too. I think it will get better.

I've been using it pretty much since it debuted, never had any big issues with it. I found Hotmail wouldn't let me read or delete mail for a couple weeks, but that magically cured itself and works fine now. I experienced some media trouble like Jay said too. So far, it's clean, easy to use, and I'm enjoying it much more over IE!

The bookmarks icon on the right side took me forever to get used to though.

one of the things that keeps me using firefox is all the extensions and addons that allow me to tweak the browser exactly the way I want it. For a clean, low-overhead browser though, Chrome is pretty nice.

I don't like the idea of Google becoming even more of a behemoth than they already are... therefore I will not add to their empire by using their browser.

Interesting, I was just reading about chrome the other day and considering using it. I still have not found anything I liked more than good ole IE. I have used Opera, FF, etc. but I always end up back with IE.

I liked Chrome a lot, but I swapped back to FireFox. There is an online bookmark option that stores all your bookmarks online, so I can access them from all my PC's, and I just can't give that up.

Google is the good behemoth that fights against the evil behemoth that is Microsoft. Support the good behemoth and use Chrome!

That being said, Chrome is a nice lightweight browser that sacrifices features for lightweightyness. Firefox is more bloated but is feature rich. IE combines the bloatedness of Firefox with the feature set of Chrome.
