Cool beans, just let me know, I think I finally figured out what discs I'm ordering.

I'm also going to see if they'd give us a small discount on some bags if we order a few, I know AJ was looking at one as was I.

Does anyone have any recommendations based on reviews or anything for good quality beginner/step-above-beginner, but no kind of "pro" type discs? I'd really like to get a few that Jess and I can both use and that we aren't going to think are crappy "starter" discs after a few rounds of getting better and more used to them. I'm afraid I'd have to read for about a MONTH to get the kind of info I'm looking for with the selection on the site Matt posted.

The discs I think I want to rock with:

Star Valkyrie - Distance Driver - 150 weight
Ken Climo Champion TeeBird - Fairway Driver - 160 weight
Champion Monarch - Distance Driver - 155 weight

All in White color if possible.

Pete, Check out Tauni's thread it has a fair bit of good info: http://www.mnmazda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3907 but I would say try something like the Leopard in a mid-light weight (163-165 maybe?) Tauni seemed to like that disc a lot and I have one and also think its a pretty easy disc to throw. A Skeeter for a mid-range is probably a solid bet, and either an Aviar or a Birdie for a putter. Once you get good with those you could add a longer distance driver to the mix to get you more range.

AJ, You might want to check with Tauni on if that Orc (and Valkyrie for that matter) are good choices in Star plastic, unless you are just planning to get them to move into eventually, She suggested i stay away from the Star Orc but I'm throwing sidearm so not sure if that had anything to do with the recommendation.

Why not? I have other Champion discs, and these would be my only 2 star discs out of 8 I'd have total.

Hmm I should address colors...

My plan right now once everyone gives me the list of Model/Plastic/Weight discs they want is to call and find out if 1) They have them in stock and 2) what color(s) they are available in. From there I'll post back so that people can either approve or change discs as appropriate.

JT - The Polecat on the site is only listed in 145-150g or 165g Weights. I dont see 155.

I'm pretty sure Corey wants:

Tauni, I'm not sure if the Flygirl disc will qualify under the group buy or not, I'm guessing not but I will find out for you.

Also the different flygril designs come on different discs, which discs do you want?
