that mercedes is dope as hell. i agree that it shouldnt cost more than twice what i paid for my house. but rich people can buy whatever!

I'm not feeling it. $500k for a sedan that most people would think costs $100k tops? No thanks. If I'm buying a super car, I want it to look like a super car. Not to mention that 4 doors and 4 seats do nothing to help it's performance. This is going to be a very expensive accessory.

The only thing I like about it is the paint. Which is the only thing you guys have been drooling about anyway.

Anyways, if you can drop $500k on a car who cares if it looks like $100k. Stealth on that car would kill. You could have fun thrashing some of the "super cars that look like super cars." IMHO, I'd rather not have it look like a super car so people don't think you're a rich tool or overcompensating.

Who cares what most people think the car costs? That should be a completely irrelevant to your decision whether or not to buy a car. Brabus is not out to build cars to impress other people, but to impress the owners themselves.

Now personally, I do think $500K is too much money for what you get, but that is the cost of a micro-volume custom builder where each is hand built on order. There are no economies of scale. For me the problem is the car doesn't look classy. I would want deep glossy paint finish and a far less overdone body kit.

Eddy, while the four doors and four seats may take minute quantities off the extreme top end of track performance, there are few drivers in the world that would likely be able to notice or exploit the differences in the driver's seat. The added passenger and cargo abilities make a far greater impact on the total ownership experience than that last speck of potential track ability.

A truly great car should be able to haul more than just ass.

I disagree. If I am going to spend $500k on a car, I want to not only have personal satifaction, but it sure as hell better impress anyone who looks at it. :bling:

i would prefer performance to speak for itslef, the car is already looking really good, im not a big fan of fancy stuff, sure it might be nice but its not something to use everyday, this car looks awesome and looks like a bad ass everyday car, that can take on 97% of the cars in the streets
