Last MNMazda photoshoot of the season?

Somewhere Minnesotan lol. A good backdrop. Lake or woods or something. My opinion. Since this is "MN" Mazda after all.

Wait, this is MNMazda? Hell I thought i'd been running a porn site this whole time.

I'd like to get some sort of woodsy thing goin' on or something.... not really sure. Trying to think of a location that's central for everyone that's not too cliche. Almost think a train yard of some sort would be cool, but I don't know of any places where we could do that without having to say "Yes officer. No officer I didn't realize I was trespassing. Yes officer that is 20%. I have a script" etc etc etc.

If anyone knows of a park or commercial parking lot with a high-ish hill next to it, that might be a good option. Then the pics could be taken from up high on a hill looking down on the group/circle etc....or perhaps from a higher lever of a parking ramp looking down or something. Just a couple of ideas.

I know a good place, but it's next to DCTC which is a hike for most. This Minneapolis backdrop would be pretty freaking cool in a poster.

That first shot is NUTS! We'd have to go at night to do it though.

ALSO- if you are in on this, plan on pulling your front plate. I don't want crappy photoshops on the media we hand out, so it's better to not have them there in the first place.

You'd think more people would be able to go if we went later at night. Although it gets completely dark at like 8 now. But I think that would be the perfect shot for the poster. I could work with that a lot.

K, we can work with that. The only worry I have is potential kid issues, or beer drinking getting in the way. But if you think it will work, then yeah, lets figure that out.

Disreguard childs, aquire sick photos.

I just know with a backdrop and nice phot like that, I could do some cool stuff. It would be cool to do a v- formation setup with the cars, like an arrowhead.

Just gotta figure out the exact location. And if y'all can hold of on the beer drinking, bring the kids along. maybe we can do it the night of the 15th, after the miata project.

With doing a night photo, and having that as our locked spot, that opens up the time frame a LOT. So it's up to you guise how you want to work it.

I say, pull the miata engine, eat foodz, and head up there when it gets dark. on the 15th.

i'm game anytime after 430.

If you want it really dark, then you'll want to shoot for after 9pm or so to ensure there isn't any lingering sunset light in the sky. Daylight savings isn't until October 30th, so no worries there.

I LOVE that shot of the cars on the ramp posted on the other rice forum! The only thing that could make that shot even more awesome would be if it was taken right after a rain.

I might actually get to make this thing! Sweet!!
