This very terrible paint chopjob shows pretty much what I mean.

The driver is sweeping left to right around those back two, and attempting to make it around the left side of the front cone. Althought, now that I look at that, he's looking the wrong way now...

It's the effort that counts.

I vote simplicity - keep it clean, fix the coneage, and it should be solid.

personally i think the design in the background looks kinda cool on this shirt, alota shirts ive seen lately have done something like that, a little tribal design as kinda the backdrop of the main image. looks good

I prefer the old background... the track wall and skyline don't quite work with the auto-x car, IMO.

And it may seem like a minor quibble, but the cones in the background are far too large. You could get away with it if they were muted into the background, but given the color scheme, that's the very first thing I notice. I think part of the problem is that the new background introduces a definite perspective, and the cones do not fit into that perspective. Same with the car, now that I look at it again...

Ugh, yeah, the cone laying on the ground in front needs to be on the outside. Didn't even notice that this morning.

I honestly think I may go without a background on this one.

I like the city background. Makes me think parking lot, which is where you'd obviously see most autocrosses. It gets a pass.

Design Placement

So I have a question...

Where you do prefer the designs on your t-shirts. Front, Back, both? I've been debating doing the next shirt with the 'LWT' on the back of the shirt and the design on the front. I'm curious to know what others perfer though.

I vote front, with LWT (depending on size) on right of left sleeve, or in back right on center neck line.

I got an estimate on pricing with this one and if I did the design on the front of the shirt with the LWT on the back yoke (top center) of the shirt I can do a nice tagless white shirt for $15 shipped in the US. Does the price work?

I like it better too. The perspective element still seems off to me though. I think the car needs to be higher up compared to the BG because the car is being viewed from such a low angle that it should be taller compared to the buildings..... but that's just the engineer in me speaking. lol

i normally like the bigger design on the back and smaller on the front. but it works both ways depending on the style of design

This. I'd run the big design on the back, run the LWT logo either above it on the collar, or on the sleeve. Bonus points for smaller/less complicated version of the design (perhaps just the car) over the heart area on the front.

I generally prefer the pattern to be on the front, but if it is on the back, then something small on the front.

After all, when you wear something, people will generally notice more what's on your front than on your back.

So I'm going to print with this design and placing the main design on the Front, with the LWT on the back yoke (upper neck). I'm debating on going with an all white order or doing 3 colors, a lighter blue, and maroon, and a deeper green.

Would love to hear some other thoughts before I finalize the order. Pricing for either would remain at $15 shipped for every shirt, which is actually where I'm placing the pricing on every shirt from here on out. I feel to reach more people wanting to buy, this is a better price point.

Once these are ordered, something long sleeve will be next.

I do like the black and white aspect of this one, with the cones being the only color. I say a white shirt for sure.
