As do we! lol I think the addition of the road course will help immensely, and this year people have a bit more notice so they can plan around it :)

Classing information has been updated. BIR has promised us a finalized schedule and fees by the end of the day today. I will post it up as soon as it is available to me.

I'm looking forward to this being the first time on a road course, and the first track event with the Miata! :)

We've also got a Condo reserved for a good nights sleep. lol

Can you elaborate a bit on what "open autox" and "open lapping" on the road course means exactly? How will the autox be run? Just get in line and go over and over? etc.

From what I've gathered the open format is like a test and tune for each section on Sat and then Sunday is competition and possibly open format as time and entries allow. If that is the case I plan on getting up there EARLY sat morning, run those two open events and probably head back early on Sunday.

The AutoX will be the same format you are used to. Driver's meeting, walk the course, timed laps as normal.

For the Road Course it will entail 10-15 cars out on the course for a period of 20 minutes. They will go through the rules on passing, safety, etc at the driver's meeting there as well.

For autox, everyone will get as many runs in as possible then. Will it be divided into heats or just "conga line" style. Where you run, then get back in line to go again. Will drivers be required to work the course as well?
