MAPerformance Labor Rate Increase Effective 4/15/08

Effective 4/15/08 our shop labor rate has changed to $110/hr.

This change was made based on a variety of factors including rising overhead and overwhelming demand in the area. We will also be pursuing other time consuming ventures including research and development of new products and tuning services which will comprise the majority of the free time we will likely experience from this change. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask.

I can't say that I blaim you. From the little I've heard while I've been in the area, you guys do great work and were way underpriced for your labor. I believe that if people want a professional job done they shouldn't have a problem paying a professional price

I knew this hike would hit someday, and if the other business is there to support the obvioud first month or two hit in labor income then it's worth it 100%.

People also don't realize a 4 hour job generally turns into a 6-8 hour job when they started it and fucked it up. So if this gets you guys more effecient and keeps the cheap poeple away, in a way it could bring you more money for the time spent.

I can't 100% understand this from a business and financial standpoint and it won't steer me from having you goofy fucks build my Miata project. :D Just don't take any fucking extra coffee break on my time. ;) LOL

I'M OFFENDED!
Agreed. I'm hankering to get a project car, to the point that I may well drop the Speed and get something that barely runs. I'll need a good shop at my back for that one.

I was kinda shocked when I saw $75/hr on your website, so I'm not too surprised you guys decided to bump it up. Good luck!

I think lost of people don't understand that Chris can now also work labor rate specials more during slow leaks when they want to have a little more labor some though the books, but still be high enough to make ends meet.

It was posted on another forum but look at how gas prices, metal prices, and overhead keep going up up an up. We have to pay to play, they need to charge time to stay in business. Good move Chris.
