Messed up bumper

Uhhh so I nailed a snow bank today, had to drive to Ely hospital for work and their parking lot still has a layer of ice/snow. Well took a 90 degree turn (going slow) but the car didnt turn...and slide right up a ice snow bank. Well I checked quick and nothing looked bad but then I got home and here is what I found along with the ambient temp sensor not working anyone know the exact location of the temp sensor? New bumber is like $450 from mazda.

That sucks, especially since the car is brand new. Also, that price for a bumper (yes, it's with a "p") doesn't include paint.... figure on closer to 700-750 painted. Ouch

errr couldnt find the edit button. But I got that side part clipped back in. Just need to get some of those plastic snap things for the wheel liner. Guess Ill look into the temp sensor once my garage heats up..

Yea, f'd mine up,(place story of stupidity here) by driving over some lose garden timbers and catching the underside on them, i was able to keep it on some times by snaping in back in, but ripped the loop where that main screw at the top was.
Tom always bugged me about it.

You should never drive in winter on the stock tires. I drove directly home from the dealer and parked mine in the garage till I got my snow tires on. You don't want to put the summer tires on till you are sure it won't get below 50.

lol, my two front tires are still original from 81, hmmm... this is going to be the last winter rexy sees ever, shit happens, by the way i got a russian connection that does paint and would prob charge you between 50-100 bucks in paint if you are intrested

well i was going to wait till after march to pick the car up but i wanted cosmic blue and it was a good deal. I know the stock tires arent made for winter but I figured i could get away with it for a month. I only have 1 car...sooo yeah im f'd for the rest of the "winter". I will be autox'ing and rallying this car so something was bound to happen.

Bummer. I bet we could make that bumper work. Once you get it washed look and see if there are any large scratches, if there aren’t too many then you can make that bumper work with little effort.

I almost have it fixed...I need to stop by mazda today to see how much the brake air dam router thing is. I got bolts/washers/nuts to put the wheel liner back on, so its just the crease/crack in the bottom...ill post some pics again. Thanks for all the help though, I have war wounds now

You know, this just further proves the curse of the CB MS3. I am double glad that I turned down the one I had ordered and got the black one instead. I'd be dead now if I hadn't.

...what?! i never saw posts of cursed CB ones....damn it hahah. If i have extra cash in the spring ill get a new bumper...otherwise meh ill prolly hit some crazy animal knowing duluth.

There is a threat in "the super secret forum section" that is a compilation of totaled CB speeds. They seem to be cursed!
