I know nothing about photography. I wish i did....i have nothing but boring cell phone shots of my car.
Well funny story with the cops: The place we were using closed down in the early 2000's but has remained under original ownership for a while. We thought it'd be okay to use the place as a background for some pics. We get about 3 hours in then 3 cops on foot start sprinting towards us from the bushes (probably spying on us) then one cop car pulls up and burns rubber, another cop car pulls up and slams on the brakes to stop from hitting our cars (mind you now we're trapped in).
They asked what we were doing, and me and my buddy Brian showed them our DSLR cameras and said we were taking pictures of our cars. Searched our cars for drugs, checked all of our ID's to make sure we're not wanted for murders or whatever. While they were checking our ID's we all made small talk with the officers standing outside that sprinted on foot and was talking about the building and how the lot would be awesome for a paint ball game and how the owner is particular on who comes onto their property.
Our ID's checked out then they followed us out. That was all she wrote lol
