Dude, that paint is sex! Reminds of the 2g Eclipse color that was out there. I love that burgandy or whatever its called. Nice!

Did your badges come blacked out from the factory like that?

No they did not i spraytinted them to get this.

Tom, have you read the thread at M3F.com about badge painting? You'd be wise to spend some time stripping off the aluminum coating (yes, it's actual metal) like I'm doing before you start painting. I think that's the reason my front badge chipped so badly so quickly.

I'm aware yeah. This was the reason I wanted to buy someone elses badges, so I can keep mine.

I've had mine soaking in 3 sequential 50% bleach baths over the last week or so. Seems to have done a pretty good job of stripping the aluminum plating off. This weekend I'm going to start sanding and painting.
