I just had the equity from my '04 mazda3. (1500?). My credit score is in the 700s, but I know my DTI is fairly high.
7% is not bad for a car loan from an outside lender(not the dealer).

I have a 705 credit rating and was able to get 6.5% from Honeywell Federal Credit Union.

The car came out to be about 24k after all was said and done. I put 10k down and financed the rest. I'm paying $260/month on a 66 month loan at 6.5%

i put only 500 down and through my own credit im paying a 5spot a month. but i just got with a credit union that will refi me down to 415 a month at 7.25 insted of 10% which im at right now. i bought first, thought later. but i had the second one in mn
