Motor Mount and BOV recommendations

Ok, I am having a meeting with the CEO (wife) to request clearance to purchase the next 2 mods on my list. Any input on the following 2 items is appreciated.

Motor Mount - I am committed to getting one, but as to which one to get I am not. I want to limit the amount of slack, but not have the car vibrates so bad it leads to an orgasm.
- Here are the 3 candidates....
-- TRZ DogBone
-- CP-e Engine Mount
-- StreetUnit Billet Aluminum Rear Engine Mount

Of those I am leaning toward the CP-e

In a BOV I want something better than the leaky piece of plastic Mazda provided, but I would like to maintain recirc if possible. From what I gather VTA leads to running rich and I would like to avoid issues that might cause. It also must be bolt on.

For BOV we have
-- TurboSmart
-- HKS

From what I've read on M3F, I'm pretty sure the CP-E motor mount offered up the best stiffness without transferring as much vibration into the cabin. I think those other two made for lots of vibs.

Well I decided to save some dough and go with the Forge BPV. I also got the CP-e Mount as the reviews on 247 were quite impressive and while I was at it I picked up a test pipe.

Did you go with the full rear mount? Or just the inserts? I bought the inserts and I can definitely tell its a lot stiffer. When I start up the engine, the whole car will have a slight jolt and you can tell there is a little vibration. Not as much as the full mounts such as the dogbone and poly thing-a-ma-bobber.

I went with the Txs Hbov...I haven't had any issues with it. Occasionally I'll get a backfire but I believe its because I'm catless that leads to this. Happens only under hard acceleration, maybe 1 of 10 times? 1 of 20? Not often...

You're going to love your new mods! So exciting! BPV will take you about 3.67 minutes to uninstall and install new one. Have fun!

That's a bad thing?
I have a lot of female friends that aren't my wife, yeah that could get me in trouble. Plus the interior is black. ;)

I went with the full mount. From what I read this one appears to stiffen it up, but still absorb vibes.

That or the TS will be what I upgrade to if the Forge leaves me wanting.

I am a mechanical retard, but I am sure I can get in done in under 4.09m.

I have the TRZ motor mount, but it's yet to be installed. At my apartment it kinda limits me on what I can work on. I need to find a place to install this yet.

do it in the parking lot all you need is a socket set and some muskles to rotat the motor tranny to slip it in place!

For those of you that care, there was a billing issue (my Amex Card had my old address on it). So that is going to delay things for a week. Oh yeah and the mount is on back order.

Just got the pipe and BPV delivered today! BPV is in. I was shocked at how much boost it holds now. The sound freaking rules too!

As for the race pipe, I don't own a jack or stands, so I am waiting on a buddy to have a day off work and lend me a hand.

Got the pipe installed. Man it sounds good at idle. It does seem to have lost some power, but from what I read it takes a few hundred miles for the ECU to re-calibrate.
