MS3 shifter hard to push down

So I can push it down with much force and it wont pop back up by it self i have to pull that sucker back up to get it to normal functional form. Anyone else have this issue? Ill be dropping it off at the dealer Friday. I took apart the center and looked at the shifter assembly. Looks like its something messed up in the base column part of the shifter spring seemed fine.

I seem to remember having that issue when I had my stock one, but I replaced my shifter before I got it fixed. On a side note how have u managed to keep the stock one this long?

^ I have had my stock shifter for 13k miles :dunno:

I would just bring it into the dealer.

Nope not related. LOL yeah this cosmic blue is cursed I almost hit a deer again yesterday on the way back to duluth! the shifter bushings hold the shift plate down to the floor. the part that broke is inside the shifter stick column.

Dealer just called, new shifter is on order..to bad the cobb sts wasnt out yet

I brought it in completely stock.

WTH the stocker is on back order I get the tribute to drive for another week or so :/
