MSP dyno with AFC

Alright, here is the dyno graph from last night. My mods are in my sig, 8psi, no cats and the AFC. Note: this was done on a Dyno Dynamics machine, which normally reads 17-20% lower than a Dynojet. So dont be surprised by the low numbers. I am pleased with the results especially once I found out that the stock map was giving me 13.5afrs at wide open! The tuner was amazed my car was still intact. So I gave it some more fuel, but still safe. This was the final pull at about 11-11.5afrs. My boost controller was all over the place, so im going to get a better one and go back so I can get more consistant boost. Let me know what you think.

edit: a stock MSP did 129whp and 132wtq on the same dyno

Nice numbers. But, isnt 11:1 a rich WOT afr? I thought they typically tuned to a 12:1 type afr? I could be completely wrong on this, but just curious.

Yes, your right, they are a little rich, but better safe than sorry. He said once I get a better MBC, one that dosnt bounce around all the time, he can lean it out a bit. But my MBC was all around in boost and was giving him a bad time. Like I said, ill be back again with my FMIC and a better MBC

Gotcha. Makes sense so that if you have any boost spikes up top you dont ping like a mutha... And I agree, better safe than sorry.

Forgive the noobish questions (still trying to push my knowledge beyond just mechanical parts and into tuning), but how much of the gains you're seeing would you attribute to fuel management?

Also, do you plan on pushing past 8psi at some point? Otherwise, why bother with boost controller that's giving you trouble? (since 8psi is obviously pretty close to stock)

Well, on the same dyno, a stock MSP pulled 130whp and 135wtq. So I was happy with the results of the AFC. And yes, I do plan on going above 8psi, but waiting for more supporting mods, or forged internalls for that matter. Once I get my FMIC isntalled and take it back for a re-tune, I will be happy for a while.
