Nah, i was just looking at it while we were waiting for the keys to the silver one. DON'T BUY THE SILVER ONE.

Actually some people subscribe to the idea a car should be broken in very hard. In that respect, Tom may have done the car a favor. However, I would want to be the one doing it to know how it was done.

So- since it seems you got a bit trampled in the chatbox-

MAPerformance (our sponsor) and StreetUnit are both excellent outlets for getting reasonably priced performance parts. Had dealings with both, and they both treated me right. One thing to check into (And if you go to Porkys on a Wed. I'd be happy to look at) is whether or not the 07-09 intake for the ms3 will work. If it does, I'd say go used, they tend to float at about the 100-120$ mark for both the Cobb and the CP-E unit.

I am at work so my attention was sporadic at best anyhow.

I actually checked out their site and sent them an email.

I have heard the 09 Cobb unit fits but would like to see the unit for myself.

I will definetely look into it used as well.

Do you have any recomendations for BPV?

The '07-'09 MS3 intakes will work. It's been tested and proven.
Same with the BPV's - Forge, Turbosmart, HKS, and Synapse are popular for this car. All are pretty standard and will get the job done - pick the sound ya like best and go from there.

We all have various versions of them, so the sound can be heard in person. Again, more than happy to demonstrate. Personally, I went with the Forge, because the mario getting coins noise is epic, and it's by far the most reasonably priced.

There are almost always some good deals to be had. Used to be it was all MSP stuff, but now that the MS3/6 have been around a few years, there are plenty of deals for those platforms too.

mmmmmmmm.....Canada's Turbosmart FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE the sound of that thing!! Make me wish I had a turbo...lol
