Well to start this is the first forum I have ever singed up on. Well i drive a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege all stock FOR NOW. I just purchesed it right befor the new year of '09. This is also my first mazda. I love the car and cant wait till the snow melts so i can really see what the car can do. I hope to meet some other MSP owners on here so I can learn more about my car than what I have online. Other than that I live in osseo so anyone on this end of town feel free to hit me up and we can go tool around on some winding roads.

welcome aboard! There are a few MSPs on here (myself included), but our numbers have been dwindling... good to have another one join the ranks.

the car is mica grey. and if you go on my profile you will see a pic of it. i am far from computer smart so i'm not sure how to put as pic on a reply. i do have big plans for the car. i want to replace the stock turbo plumbing this spring as well as a cold air befor i hit the east coast in july. i dont want to risk failure when putting on 3000miles in five days. so what all do you have done to your car and do you have any advice on what i can do with mine without blowing the motor up?

you've got fog lights on there, with an 03.5 lip. That's not stock. I'll have to check out that setup. Do you know your production #?

Yeah, I thought titanium grey was only a 2003.5 color, so I'm guessing the fogs were added after the fact.

With regards to the intake and turbo plumbing, I've currently got an INjen CAI, and a set of intercooler pipes I built myself. I'm working towards putting together a water/air intercooler setup in the next couple months, in which case the intake and pipes would all be up for grabs (likely pretty cheap). Just an FYI... lol

As for mods, the first two things I would recommend are an upgraded intercooler and as much exhaust as you can afford. If you haven't already, surf over to www.mazdas247.com, and look for a thread about the Alterd Customs FMIC group buy. I think the kit is going for something crazy cheap like $375 shipped right now.

I'M OFFENDED!
Welcome aboard! I almost bought an MSP myself (in fact it was the same one dmention7 ended up buying) but for some reason the wife didn't think it was the car for her. So- I only have one Mazdaspeed to tool around in.
