I guess I assumed most of the courses would be close enough to each other that it wouldn't be a big deal. The place I played at, the shop was only a couple minutes walk from even the furthest course. We just let our personal stuff in the car and our paint on the table outside the shop.

Tom does have a good point about strats and stuff on just on course though.

Every place is a little different, most of them have multiple courses, some with objectives, or different things to use for cover, different layouts, etc. A good share of them are easy enough to move between courses.

I'm looking for something that has woods and features like buildings, one place had a castle you were supposed to defend lol. Anyway I'm not looking to setup a speedball event, as while it's okay I think woodball would be a lot more fun.

I used to play at a place in Anandale that had a tournament course with inflatable bunkers, then a small speedball field. I know what you mean about it being a waste of paint, but it's not our fault that you don't like to run. :D

Another place I've played is down near Rochester and is built in a wooded area. There's one long field with some obstacles like big wooden spools, sheets of plywood, etc., a wooded creek bed on one side and a wooded hill on the other good to play capture the flag on. Then they have a speedball course with nothing but wooden structures and 55-gallon drums for cover.

To be honest, if you think playing anything but woodsball is a waste of paint then you shouldn't be playing paintball. This isn't the military, it's not about one shot one kill. You lay down paint and wait for people to run into it. That's what the game is about whether you like it or not.

I like both variations. Thats why I think it would be fun to play at a place with both options.

That's what speedball is, and there is nothing more boring inho. I like to run around, sneak, crawl, hide, and enjoy time. Not spend $100 in paint only to hit someone after they got bored enough to walk into what happen to be my line of fire. Even watching it on tv sometime I think about what the point it of close quarters speedball.

Alright guys, this isnt a speedball vs woodsball debate, create your own thread if you'd like to continue.

Well I started it so it's obvious that it would be well liked :D but take your arguing to PMs or your own thread :p
