i have the rotors in my trunk, but the problem is pads are in burnsville.... what's going on tomorrow?

Josh, bring it over whenever... if nothing else, it can sit in my side-yard at least until it has working brakes installed.

Nothing for me. Work in the AM, can arrange to do brakes tomorrow. I suggest acquiring a Chiltons for that car in the mean time.

Thanks to everyone for helping to make the ROFLGOLF happen! Jeff for drivin me around, jay for das brake job, and tom and jay for the entertaining run to the junkyard!

I drove the beast from Burnsville to Eden Prairie this morning, and to my amusement it got quite a few looks on my way in to work!

I dropped it off at a shop this morning to get the rear brakes done and get a estimate on the idle/throttle problem.

I'm thinking that I need to spend a little time on craigslist to see about getting some kc daylighters and perhaps a winch....

Definitley not bad, considering i was able to drive it from the beginning. Could have been smart and gotten an old coroll but where's the fun in that?

Good times this weekend! Lemme know if you need the garage space again for coolant flushing or anything (garden hose method ftw).

Yeah and it's Minneapolis city water so dumping 20 year old coolant into it is probably an improvement.

Got ROFLGOLF back and they fixed idle, with out replacing my thingamajig!?!?!
Pretty sweet IMO, the part costs $170, labor $180 to replace that thing? I think I'm ok w/o it!

So, what did they do to fix it then? I take it, they didn't charge you for the parts or labor, cuz I'd be damn pissed if it cost $350 to fix the idle on a $950 car
