Because they're slower and more expensive than a turbo setup.

They DO sound cool, though.

Yeah but no lag. Instant throttle response through pretty much the whole rpm range.

That's what a properly-sized turbo does. I have that kind of response, and i make more power.

I'd be tempted to do the auto x portion of this event, but considering MAP didn't seem to want my $ for Miata work, I don't think they would want me money for this event.
