Yeah I would for sure, if you use a car payment calculator $7800 (assuming you financed all of that) comes out to right around $165/mo on a 5 year (60mo) loan depending on interest rate.

Can't you just look at your loan paperwork? All the details should be clearly on there.

JDM tails on a Mopar, eh? lol

EDIT: My mistake, they are euro style tails in JDM black. Talk about multicultural!

It's probably 60, fairly standard time frame. I'd honestly pay extra to each payment to pay that fucker off as soon as possible. An extra $20-$50 a payment adds up quick and saves intrest!

I was going to say the same thing about the tail lights Jay. Euro-style JDM tails, zomg!

A, do you have any pics of those tail lights installed and lit up in cars? Obviously what the look like when in use is the most important thing.

lulz@Sawzall!

Honestly I'd check and see if you go with a full on tuning option (not sure what is out there for mopar) if you can change the transmission parameters with that, would be better/more cost effective than getting that transmission module then getting a tune later. It's hard to make suggestions on a platform I know very little about - but Longtubes > catback on a lot of vehicles, unless the stock catback is really restrictive. I'd want to see those tails on a car, 90% of aftermarket tails I think look like ass (and not the good kind), but there are some exceptions - the headlights I'd say check out what people have to say about em, a lot of aftermarket projector lights (especially cheap ones) are more or less garbage as far as their light pattern, especially w/ HID's.

well it wasn't 60 months, so i will have to go back today and get clarification.
Riddle me this... you bought a car, and don't know what the terms of the loan are?

I don't want to start a fight or flame or anything, i like everyone i've talked to on here so far... But that's scary. o_O

I'm guess salesman said 60 month and you heard 16 month. They sound similar. And pretty sure very few people offer 16 month loans. 12/18/24 sure, but 16 is a pretty oddball number where 60 is very normal.

For a 16 month loan you'd have to pay at least $487 per month and that's with 0% APR. At just 5% APR you're looking at a $505 payment. If you financed $7800 I guarantee you're not on a 16 month, $164/month loan.

For a 60 month loan and a $164.xx payment you're looking at ~9.75% APR which is a crappy rate to begin with. Especially with places like thinkbank and penfed offering 3-4% APR on car loans. Just going down to 4% would drop your payment down to $143 which is a big difference.

He already suggested the loan was 9.33 or some such % so yeah, we've pretty much determined it was a 60 month loan mathematically unless some oddball shens are going on we don't know about.

60 month. Which is still fine by me. Reapplied at the cabinet shop today, continuing my search for better employment.

Also - I know you guys are trying to help, but I'm not getting rid of it, or taking a Sawzall to it. It was something that I wanted, and it doesn't matter how much you're going to hate on me for it.

and Tom - you can give it up. I'll put Lambo doors and 20" wheels on the Charger when you rice out the MS3.
