Rock Chips?

A body shop.

How big is it? Unless it's like the size of a penny or bigger, just put some touch-up paint on it.

Yeah, if it's a small chip, just clean the area really well and dab some touchup paint in. Usually it's best to apply small amounts at a time and build up the paint until it matches the surrounding paint.

Do you have full glass coverage? If so, you're set. If there is a crack forming, wait until it reaches the length of a dollar bill or the edge of the windshield and they will replace the entire thing.

I'd add glass coverage to your insurance policy now, then wait till the crack gets big enough for them to replace the whole thing. Hell, if you want, after they replace the windshield you can drop the glass coverage again. I don't think it would cost all that much extra for the coverage.

if you already have comprehensive insurance, full glass usually only adds like $5/month to your premium. If you have liability only though, it might cost quite a bit more to add comprehensive AND full glass.

Ahh, I guess you're SOL then. You can try stopping by Abra or any of those auto glass places (most body shops can probably do the work too) and see what they say. My guess is that it would be in the neighborhood of $50-75 to have a chip repaired.
