Scott - 1990 Miata - Burnsville

Hi there,

Name is Scott and live in Burnsville, some of you may know me from other forums. I went on a cruise with the MNMazda guys last year with my MKIII Supra Turbo. I have since sold that car and purchased my first Mazda.

I'll get better pictures once the weather improves, for now, two of these are from the previous owner and the other is a bad cell pic in my parking garage.

Spec: 1990 Miata, 84k, Was an Arizona car until 2 years ago when the Previous owner purchased it for him and his wife to drive around the lake. They put 2k miles on it and a bunch of service. Bought it for 2850 in Iowa and drove it up here Friday. Freaking LOVE this car.

You got a deal on that one. I believe I saw that add on 2/13 in Prairie City, IA for $3500 on CL. The add said not a spot of rust, and your pictures confirm, nice pickup! If this is indeed the case, nice to know some people are realistic out there. Looks clean, welcome to the forum.

Yupp that is the car I picked up! The guy was super nice and by far the best buying experience I have ever had. Only downsides with the car are that it has a randomly erratic idle (ISCV needs cleaning/replacing) and it has the Miata 65mph shake which should be fixed by a new set of front tires, an alignment, and a lower front subframe brace.

Gorgeous car.... you're the second mint whatever colored blue car we've had join in recent weeks, and this is not a bad thing. Methinks sponsoring Targa Newfoundland for FM was not a fail.

Also, I'm jealous of your dimple-free front bumper. I am trying to find one for my car since it is now eligible for collector plates. Yours too, so you can run just a rear plate with no problems from the law.

Unfortunately the previous owner put a plate on the front right before I bought it :/. I won't be putting a plate back on it though, I've never had a front plate on any of my cars and never had troubles lol
