All and all, not a bad movie, I kind of enjoyed it, certainly not as bad as the naysayers made it out to be. Not going to win a oscar, but worth seeing in the theater.

Man did this movie bomb over the weekend. Costs like $120 million to make and barely pulls in $20 million on opening weekend...

Okay so first, I haven't seen the movie. I'll probably rent it when it comes out.
The story of the movie isn't all that intersting to me, but like it or not the W. Bro's have some amazing ideas and methods for filming movies and doing special effects, and this brings more of that to the table, which I think is great. If you haven't seen / heard / read some of the background info on how this movie was produced it's worth checking out.

Yea, aimed at the kids more, that's for sure, although, there was a few choose sware words and a kid flicking someone off the my son could have done without.
Movie might have done better coming out a few weeks sooner, there's been nothing for the younger croud in a while, and it can't hold water next to Iron Man.

I heard the entire thing is CGI. I dont mind a little CGI, but from what I have read there is nothing "real" in the movie.

Yea, about 2% the driving in that could be filmed in real life. To compair this to something about the same, say TMNT, it blows that away. Fun movie, I'm guessing if you watch it with minimal expectations, you should enjoy it.
