Bah, you beat me to this, though I applaud your effort for simply stepping up and making it so.

Jenny will have the dogs at the fair Aug 26th doing demonstrations or something like that, so I've already taken that day off to go. Guess I'm out for this one.

I'm out, Jana and I are taking Lilli on Wed, the 31st. Avoiding the standard kids days and such. Sadly I can do two days.

Well, in this case, I am working around Marcy's schedule... and Thursday was the best fit... Not really looking to deal with the hordes on a weekend, and Thursday (which is a Senior Day) worked better than Wednesday.

It'll be a great time no matter when you go. We're already locked in to go with friends on Wednesday as well, so perhaps we'll see AJ and family there. Sounds like Ella is planning on going with yellow Fair Hair this year.

Just a tip for those that are going any time, you can use an adult discount ticket from Cub to pay for your parking ($9 vs $10 on-site). I also highly recommend getting the blue ribbon discount/coupon book. They're only $4 in advance (again at Cub) and they pay for themselves with 1-3 coupons.

I love that picture of Ella - so darn cute!!! I am looking forward to taking Lilli this year. I think last year would have been too hard yet.

2yr olds have fun, but 3 is when they're able to ride on the faster rides. Lilli will have a blast no matter what. If she has any daredevil in her, you'll have to have her try the trampolines with the bungee cords that fling them up in the air to help them jump really high (see pic below). The little bumper boats on the midway are also fun for the little kids and they get a lot of time cruising around in them.

Thanks for the tips - she is kind of our daredevil, so i"ll have to see what she can handle this year!!! I'll have to pick up some of the coupon/discount tickets at Cub this week. :D Maybe we'll see you there!
