They don't necessarily care, however the way Tauni described how the different disc's behave w/ turning/fading will be different if you are throwing left handed (basically reversed)

Just get a straight disc and throw it straight. That way, you'll go straight, and straight is good.

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much about it starting off, like JT said just get a good fast straight flying disc and have fun. I am planning to play this weekend (if I can find disc's tonight or tomorrow) in Elk River, maybe another course somewhere too depending on how that goes, if anyones interested in giving it a shot.

I'm confused.
No sillies... a left handed person will buy the same discs and throw the same way and have the same results. A lefty's release point will still be the same as a righty's, just the spin on the disc will be backwards... think... toilets in Australia. I mentioned the right hand back hand only because it is what is traditional.

FYI I went to play it again sports in Eagan today, they had a rack with some discs in it of various types. The couple I was looking for I did not see but they are supposed to be getting a bunch more in early next week. Most the innova ones seemed to be around $13-15, so not too bad.

Update:
Went to the store in Blaine, they had a lot more discs available there, the guy said they had just got an order in but he's been selling a lot this spring summer and having a hard time keeping them in stock, so suggested just calling/stopping in to see when they get a shipment. Found a couple discs though :D

There are no golf carts but usually plenty of beer!

Alright ladies, we're lockin it down! Official date will be SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th!

We haven't picked courses yet but I'd like some input on what courses would like to play... 18 hole or 9 hole, etc...

I picked a moderate course, but I'm fine trying anything easy or harder. I would also vote for two courses, maybe make the morning one an easier course and step it up a notch for the afternoon?

Tauni is there another easy course within reasonable distance from Eagan? Maybe Highland or Apple Valley? I think Eagan would be a great warm up / beginner course then another 9 hole in the morning and then setup something like IGH or Cottage Grove in the afternoon?

Rosemount! It's a fairly simple 9 holes, very new... We'd probably have to carpool from Corey's or something for all the babies who don't like to drive ;) But its only like 10-15 min from Corey's

Shall we say tentatively what you said in G-Chat earlier?? Central Park and the other one in the morning, Lunch, then Eagan (or whatever) then North Valley or Cottage Grove in the PM?
