I'M OFFENDED!
I am not an editor for Sport Compact Car; I didnt claim Honda was the heart and soul of the movement. I was merely stating that info I learned on the Honda side of world can easily be translated over to the Mazda side. I hate the Honda owners with Type-R badges as much as anyone, but thats not to say Mazda owners arent guilty of the same rice.
True. I just hate Hondas a lot, and you know that about me. And there are plenty of riced out Mazdas out there, just the same as there are some fast Hondas. No one need look further than the Hasport CRX for that.

I'd imagine it was fairly thorough... you don't generally earn the rep that Cobb has by building wack parts. I know another member on here had Hotchkis stuff on his ride, and he liked them. I'd love to get a rear sway for my car... the only thing that worried me is the tendency for the thing to snap oversteer at the limit. Granted it's probably because I drive like a dope, but it still scares the hell out of me.

Another thing we can learn from the Honda crowd, tom.... it's not called "snap oversteer" it's called "MAD TYTE DORIFTO!!!"

There was a thread about "snap oversteer" on m3f and the general consensus it the person who posted about it was actually inducing lift-off oversteer and didn't realize it.

Also, wasn't it AJ with who kept a picture of Joe in his pocket?

I would agree that lift-off oversteer is probably more likely to happen on most street conditions. You hit that cloverleaf a bit too hot, and when you lift off the gas to scrub some speed, the rear end gets a bit light, and the next thing you know it's starting to swing around on you.

It's a bit less scary on snow tires since the breakaway is pretty progressive, but I've felt that pit in my stomach in the middle of a long large radius ramp when you feel the weight suddenly transfer off your rear inside corner.
