Well, I'm not sure how I went this long without noticing it (or even how long I went without noticing), but today when Tom, Matt and Nate were over at my place, I noticed that my Racing Harts were no longer in my garage.

My only guess is that one day when I was leaving for work, the garage door didn't close all the way, and someone walked in and helped themselves. I did have one day where my neighbor told me he saw my garage open at about 10am, so he closed it for me. I was probably more concerned about making sure my tools were all still there that I competely forgot about checking for my wheels.

Anyways, I'm going to be filing a police report tomorrow, and hopefully it will be covered under my home-owners' insurance since my property was entered illegally.

I'm sad. I really liked those wheels. But I guess the best-case scenario now is that I get fair market value from the insurance company, and have a shiny new set of wheels this spring.

Wow, that sucks. Gettin yo shit jacked is never any fun. Getting our storage locker at the apartment broken into twice in two days was what really pushed us to buy a house.

Well, as one of the people involved, I feel compelled to add this. If any of you all see a thread f/s with this wheels, let us know. Also, probably we will be checking local pawn shops over the next little bit to see if they turn up there (A set of Racing Harts on F1 rubber are going to be easy to spot, and given the neighborhood they were "liberated" from, they'll probably be turned to make a quick buck. They aren't dubs and we weren't in frogtown) So if you hear any word on these rims, please let Jay, or even myself know. All I have to say is those theivin' motherfuckers better HOPE that I don't get them before the cops do. Cause their grubbin little fingers won't work any time soon if I have my say in the matter. And these aren't even my rims.

Thanks Tom. Like he said, they were the stock gunmetal Racing Harts with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires (maybe 25% tread). I'm don't have my hopes up too high, but if anyone happens to spot them in a pawn shop or other such circumstance (local FS on another forum), I would appreciate a heads up.

Also, I've posted this on mazda3forums.com, mazdas247.com, and mnsportcompact.net, but if anyone has any suggestions for other places to post it, please let me know.
