Agreed... I don't think it's a joking matter. On the cruise line, I think it is an excellent idea that they are returning some part of Haiti to normalcy and providing both aid and economic benefit.

Okay, I admit, I kinda chuckled. But then, I'm at peace with the fact that I'm a heathen, and this is the internet.
And I see no reason to be outraged over the cruise ships docking in Haiti. But again, this is the internet we're talking about--someone has to get outraged over everything. Unless they have spent every hour of the last week in a state of somber grief, they should just STFU. At least the people with the gall to enjoy themselves jet-skiing and souvenir shopping were injecting a bit of cash into the country's economy.
