G20 was about ready to break in half from rust, rear end was seized (likely brakes), etc. It's a no go so our search continues.

Strangely, Saturns appear to do well. You're not going to want to sell it for what we want to pay for it though.

Not surprised that there are alot of Saturns being used for this given that 95% of Saturns even made are now worth less then $500, there as good at holding value as 2 year olds are at holding there bladders.

You mentioned a protege, which was sold as the familia in japan, which is also what the 323 was called, which is basically the same thing as a festiva. Just sayin.

Alright, so we 'might' have a car, more details on that if/when it happens for sure.

I think the next two things we really need to nail down sooner than later - Team Name and Theme. Since we likely aren't getting a P71 I would vote super troopers out. There is the option to Join forces with Matt D, Team Shake n bake w/ the old spice car. I kind of would like to go more original/creative but am open to suggestions/thoughts/ideas.

I don't really care, as long as I get to paint flames on the car. Also have to remember, Pikachu has to end up on it as part of the deal with worked with the presumptive previous owner of said vehicle. I'll see if I can think of something funny.

That was more of a fun thing to do, especially if you guys picked up a mk1 MR2. :) Do your own thing, but if you do in fact find a Toyota there's no reason we couldn't combine forces and help each other out. We have a friend who has helped us immensely with the car, he's a Toyota guru and works at Burnsville Toyota. Unsure what he knows about the car you're looking at, but I'm sure he has some info stashed away in his brain that could help you out.

Oh I'd be all for joining forces, makes sense to pool some resources from both sides!

I also like the idea of a MR2 but I haven't seen any that are anywhere near our price range.
