Seems like this summer has been somewhat of a letdown for get togethers....locally speaking. Just alignment day and a BBQ. We should try ans get something going for one of these upcoming weekends, next thing you know all cares going back to storage.

We have a camping + cabin trip the weekend after Labor day. But yeah another local meet would be nice. There's a really nice park I found on medicin lake w/ covered tables (more than 1 table!) a beach, fishing, docks etc.

I'M OFFENDED!
I am going to the State Fair on monday- y'all are welcome to meet me out there. Beyond that, I had some sorta weird dream last night where I thought we should have a beer samplin' party. Everyone brings something they REALLY like, and we all share it around. Maybe get some light food in there as pallate cleansers (I know I don't wanna taste a million beers without something in there) and go from there. IDK.

Tom that's a solid idea. I did that with a poker game I hosted and we ended with a mini beer fest. It was great. Having it in BAG allowed for not having to worry about spills and shit. I know I'm going to be doing another one with a poker game here in the next couple weeks, and we'll be adding in cigars. :)

The food probably needs to be basic and specific, like preztals to go best with beer and cleaning the taste buds.

How does everyone feel about another bbq / outdoor games / everything event down at my place and/or northview park?

That sort of event usually seems to work out well and have a good turnout. Maybe we can come up with something a little extra to add and make it interesting. (Football game, poker, etc.)

I like the idea of a six-pack party like Tom said. Everyone brings a sixer of something like like (or a larger bottle if it's not available in packs) for sampling shens.

Wait, something I said has a positive reaction? SHOCKING. That being said I know of a few parks right by me that have plenty of ass space. I'm not 100% certain on drinking in the park rules and all of that though... if beerz and drunkery are the order of the day, I suggest we do it at someone's home that is willing to host.... just to have less worries about having to clear out or running into some kids birthday or something.
