Transmission fluid

So has anyone heard any reviews on whats good for our speed3/6 transmissions? I know with honduhs GM synchromesh is good, or Redline MT-90.

I think redline is pretty much the most popular choice. There are a few royal purple die-hards, but redline seems to be teh winar. I've used it in my 3, and in my MSP (twice), and I'll most likely continue to use it in future cars.

Syncromesh seems to be the choice on DSM'ers, and with how those trannies are, it must be good. (DSM trannies are teh suck of you didn't already know)

Well maybe that is the reason they are the suck. The syncromesh makes them the suck.


I say redline or Moblie 1.

I have MT-90 in my 6 and can make no complaints about it. Never used Syncromesh so I have no opinions on it.

I know I've seen amsoil on a site with a bunch of protege parts, but I can't for the life of me remember which one.

I have run Redline in a number of cars and really like the stuff. Except for my Acura which got the Honda OEM stuff... Apparently its the best stuff for it.
