2/3 of the phones aren't released yet, so what are your takes on HTC EVOs, Nexus' and the photon? I'm leaning towards the photon right now because its 100 after rebates and currently available. The only pros (to me) to the 2 that aren't released yet is faster processors and having android 4.0, thoughts?

I actually just picked up my photon about 3 weeks ago and I really like it. It doesn't feel cheaper than the other phones and the battery life is sweet. Also it will ne getting ice cream sammich in november I believe. Just my. 02. Goodluck!

The 2 largest carriers don't need any more business, none the less, I have and recommend the Droid Razr Maxx with a 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery through Verizon.

Not really giving them 'more' business, and I'm not going back to verzion where my current plan would be 70+ a month. Also, I went with the nexus.

So how's the new phone working out? Our neighbor girl is looking for a new phone with great reception.

It works well for me. Only issues I've come across are what I read online: back of the phone by the camera gets fairly hot after 5-10 minutes of continuous use, If you have 2 bars or less the phone has a hard time loading web pages, downloading apps etc... One thing I didn't realize before I got it was its lack of a micro SD slot, only a small inconvenience since the phone (at least sprints version) has 32GB internal memory.
