so im looking into working out again, and idk if i should join a gym or not, cause when i use the gym in my appartments shit dont work right, every freggin time i go on the threadmill i get shocked and that fucking sucks. so im wondering if anyone has any special work out routines or if anyone would be interested in joining a gym and working out and shit like that, im looking into burning more fat than gaining muscle, but would like to be more toned :boxing:

yeah i will, it be great to get a little group to hit the gym, that way we kinda watch over each other and kicks ones others ass if they become lazy or sick

We are also getting back into it (working out, not sex, that's long gone:() and we just need to get on a schedule. I've already cut pop our of my intake 100% and really starting to watch what I eat more. It's the little things like push ups, crunches, running, and walking that make an impact when done often with the right diet.

well i think if we get a small group going we would support each other and we would get a better work out

I'M OFFENDED!
Group orgies generally exceed the recommended number of penises per heterosexual relationship IIRC... I'll stay out of them.

LA Fitness! Its just like Lifetime...but cheaper. Rates I believe are going to go up soon, so you might want to check them out quick. I workout every morning before work and there is hardly anybody in there...from about 5:45 to 7:00am. Pretty nice places.

I've got the most basic membership at Lifetime Fitness and it costs about $53 per month after taxes. If you go 12 times or more per month your health insurance will subsize that by $20.

My routine is to workout 6 times per week. I do one hour of cardio (treadmill) every session and every other session I lift weights focusing on different muscle groups each time. I've lost 20lbs in the past 2 and a half months that I've been with the routine.

Until i find a wii fit i run 4 miles a day, stretch (need to do more of), lift weights.
Stretching is a waste of time...proper warm-up is the key.

Yeha...tried posting a link but its not working correctly, it only pastes a fraction of it...But google "To stretch or Not to stretch" + "NY Times".

Stretching is only a waste of time if you are pretty active from the get go. Even then, it's worth it before and after being active or working out. Otherwise you really risk tear shut up and doing damage.

For me, Ove cut out beer and pop 100% and plan to stay that way for some time. Just by that, and lowering my food portions I've dropped 10lbs in the last 2 weeks. No working out. Now I'm going to lift and get myself up to 100-200 situps/crunches a night over time and try and get down to 170 by end of July.
